My tablet does detect that it has been connected to my laptop and lsusb
does list a device named "google inc." but it is not auto mounted as,
for example, a USB memory stick would be.
Kde connect does allow me to share the clipboard and I can transfer a
file from the tablet to the laptop with ES File Explorer. However, at
this point I cannot see how to transfer a file from the laptop to the
tablet using either KDE connect or ES File Explorer.
I've set my Downloads directory on my laptop to have SMB share ability
and the Downloads directory is visible on the tablet but the login fails
because "The account has no permissions"; not quite sure what that may mean.
So for the moment, a micro SD card is my low-tech solution.
