As far as I know, chrome comes with built-in flash and moreover, when I,
in 14.04, lookup flash in synaptic I see flashplugin64-installer
11.0.20129-0ubuntu and 11.2.202.406ubuntu both described as Adobe Flash
Player plugin installer so I don´t think you have to worry.
Thanks for your support on my ¨saga¨ which is still not solved but as
long as I work with Linux (since 1992!) the helpful spirit of the Linux
community has always been legendary. Everybody helps another within his
technical expertise. That is the spirit of Open Source. If you need help
it is given and if help is needed you give it.
Success with your replacement. DO you replace the notebook or just the OS?
