Only the brand name, not the product itself. Google for "project

The brand name has too much negativity associated with it.

Microsoft has never released Internet Explorer on Linux.
Like you say, CreatePopup is an IE-only function, so then the options 
are
* change that function with something non-proprietary, if you have 
access to the web server
* run Internet Explorer on Linux either in a Virtual Machine, or in a 
Windows emulator
* boycot that site and let them know why
* wait a while, since that function is no longer supported on IE11
* stay on Windows, but that would be silly really  ;-)
