rm -fr not deleting stuff

A good idea, but not in a context where one pass of rm fails and a
second (or third or fourth) succeeds.

Since Ubuntu doesn't fail, but busybox does, I'm deciding it's a
resource limitation of busybox when processing deep directory trees.
Unless someone can come up with a simpler explanation...
