Booting into another kernel

Awhile back I installed 3.14.0-031400-generic #201403310035 SMP due to
lockups and the upgrade was update was suggested by some on the Ubuntu
IRC group. A new 3.13 kernel was downloaded today and I'd like to go
back and try it however I get no option when booting. I remember in my
old Mandriva box I would get a splash screen with a choice of kernels.
The reason I want fall back to the 3.13 is that today for some reason my
box has locked up twice with no information in syslog at all.
