Here is what my grub file looks like
GRUB_DEFAULT=1
#GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT=1
GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT_QUIET=true
GRUB_TIMEOUT=1
GRUB TERMINAL=console
GRUB GFXMODE=640X480
GRUB_RECORDFAIL_TIMEOUT=5
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=`lsb_release -i -s 2> /dev/null || echo Debian`
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=""
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=""
Question are there any lines I don’t need?
Also when I tried to update-grub I received this message.
root at ubuntuserver:/home/macmike# update-grub
/usr/sbin/grub-mkconfig: 10: /etc/default/grub: GRUB: not found
root at ubuntuserver:/home/macmike#
