Monster bluetooth speaker

Anyone got any sound from a Monster Clarity HD bluetooth speaker with
Ubuntu 14.04? And if so, how?

I did some googling, followed some instructions and reached a few step
forwards; now at least Ubuntu finds the speaker, but still no sound.

It worked (at least some times) with Ubuntu 12.04, but no luck with Ubuntu
14.04.

What I did so far was to install the following extra packages and restart:

bluez
bluez-alsa
bluez-audio
bluez-btsco
bluez-compat
bluez-cups
bluez-dbg
bluez-gstreamer
bluez-pcmcia-support
bluez-tools
bluez-utils
python-bluez
bluewho
indicator-bluetooth
libbluetooth-dev
libgnome-bluetooth11
libbluetooth3
python-gobject
python-dbus

I also installed something called ”blueman”.
