Most modern wifi-capable routers have a configuration option to turn off
the radio. Not useful for you as your ethernet ports are defective, but
for others who may not want the wifi feature in their routers.

However, to be sure that your brains (and your children's brains) are
not struck by dangerous wireless radio signals, you should also dispose
of your microwave oven, get rid of your portable telephones and base
units, stop using mobile telephones, move to somewhere with no mobile
telephone reception and make sure that none of your neighbours are using
wifi, microwaves or portable telephones. You and your family should stay
away from built-up areas likely to have wifi coverage. Don't use baby
monitors or wireless doorbell devices. Make sure none of your desktop
computers contain wifi interfaces, or disable them in the BIOS if they
do. Ditto for your laptop, your iPod, and any tablets you or your family
may use.

While these are more commonly used to combat alien (and more recently US
Government) mind control transmissions, they should be equally effective
at blocking electromagnetic radiation generally. Do ensure that they are
properly earthed though.
