HP 1020 Printer issue

the latest ver pf Xubuntu automatically adds an extra driver when it
sees the HP1020. I tried vers of Debian and other distros and it never
worked no matter what I tried. But Xubuntu (I assume some other distros)
knew what was needed.

I have:

uname -a
Linux user1-ESSEX2 3.13.0-46-generic #77-Ubuntu SMP Mon Mar 2 18:26:13
UTC 2015 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux
