iSO install videos?

I think my friend wants to install Ubuntu. A couple of questions. He has Ubuntu installed on another PC. He wondered about creating an iOS out of that install and then installing it on the laptop. I thought might miss some drivers he might need on the laptop.
2. H wanted to know if there were any YouTube videos that would walk him through installing on the UEFI type laptop.
