Running Ubuntu 14.04, Libreoffice 4.2.8.2
The problem I am seeing is when I change the bottom border of a cell to
a double underline, I see a thick black line, not two individual lines.
I have discussed the problem on the Libreoffice forum and they seem to
think it is a display problem, but I'm not so sure. One person said his
OS and LO were the same as mine and he could see the double underlines.
I made the following observations:
Desktop computer running Ubuntu 14.04 + LO 4.xx = black line.
Laptop running Ubuntu 14.04 + LO 4.xx = black line.
Same laptop running Mint 17 + LO 5.xx = a double underline.
A sheet created on the desktop with LO 4.xx opened on the laptop
using Mint 17 and LO 5.xx = black line.
Desktop reverting to Ubuntu 12.04 + LO 3xx = black line.
I have a copy of Gnumeric on my 12.04 partition and it will display the
bottom border of a cell as a double underline just fine.
If I print the sheet on 14.04 + LO 4.xx I see the double underline.
To me some things point to a display problem and other seem to point to
a settings problem. What are your thoughts?
Regards, Jim
