The provider is Alice. Until not so long ago I used PPPoE and IIRC each
time I reconnected and checked the IP, I got a new IP.

I changed Firefox' "Home Page" from https://startpage.com/ to
http://www.meine-aktuelle-ip.de/ . It's not my main browser, but I use
it often enough, to not forget to check the IP.

Too funny, at least wenn using PPPoE it sometimes was another
neighbouring city, that has got the same prefix number as my hometown
has got, sometimes it's my hometown and sometimes it's "Essen", a
neighbouring city, with a different prefix number. However, data
security is something else entirely.
