Menu bar disapperaed after upgrade from 15.10 to 16.04

Hi all,

Last night I upgraded from Ubuntu 15.04 to 16.04 (32-bit). Since then,
Nautilus and Eclipse stopped displaying menu bar on the top.

Searching online, I found that the command -

> unity --reset-icons &disown
>
 corrects this behaviour "till shutdown".

Why do I have to do this command every time? What got messed up and how to
correct it?

Any guidance is appreciated.
