The whole concept of mult-clicking is bad IHMO. Whoever came up with
double-click to select things did a huge disservice to computer users.
On Windows I always change the default to "Single Click to Open an
Item", this means I virtually never have to double click.
In Linux I have a similar setting in the file manager but I rarely use
the file manager. I have a five button trackball though and have one
of the extra buttons to emulate double-click so that avoids it in
Linux totally.
