PS: IOW You have got some software installed, e.g. from Adobe, on your
"stock Windows 7" and Synaptic only handles your Linux packages and has
got absolutely nothing to do with the "stock Windows 7" install. You
should ask for support by the companies of the proprietary software you
bought for your Windows install.
