I would upgrade anyway. Who can say whether the changelog actually
includes all the changes, and often code has side effects that even
the developer did not realise, particularly where bugs are concerned.
If you don't you cannot be certain whether it is a factor. Unless you
find another problem of course.
On the other hand the fact that it is intermittent is more suggestive
of hardware. I presume it has not got a windows boot on it.
