He read that there is a difference between gksudo and sudo and now he
asks if he should install it or not.

If he read that there is a difference and he should understand the
difference, he should be able to decide, what fits better to his taste,
without asking. Even if a config should change to owner and group root,
the config still is readable, perhaps he made the gedit config and dconf
anyway immutable, because he doesn't want to change it ;).
If he shouldn't understand the difference and the sources were
Ubuntu Wikis, than he simply should follow this advice and install
gksu. At least for testing purpose it's worth to install it, then the
user could decide, if it's wanted, that a window enforces "super-focus".

I don't know if it is or isn't installed by default, but IMO users
should learn to understand the difference. I guess he has the skills to
install it and his install isn't broken, but he is _unable_ to install
it, because he has got doubts.
