I'm thinking of giving up on this MB...

I did some searching before I sent my email - saw many mem problems
but none that matched my no-boot problem. Almost all were Win
problems. I did a lot more searching since and found MANY more mem
problems with this board. A number of folks thought this was NOT a
good MB - some thought it was the worst they had seen. Durability was
a big issue. Multiple people had replaced the MB, some even 3 times.
Seems it has thermal issues long term. Maybe that's why it was on
sale. :-((

AMD CPU seems OK. I'd appreciate any suggestions for another AMD MB
that works well WITH 32G ddr3 mem.

And, would I be better off with Intel and ddr4? More $$, I know, but
does it work more reliably with 32G?

I saw a few suggestions saying to put one stick in #1, and another
pair in 2&4. .This supposedly would let both run at full speed. Many
said this would not damage anything, so I tried it. Now BIOS sees 24g,
memtest sees 24G but crashes on any test. Box will now not boot - AT
ALL. Says "set boot device and reboot", but I can't get it to boot
from the SSD with any combination of BIOS settings, or even telling it
to boot from the SSD. Just before this, it was running rather well
with a 16G pair. That no longer works AT ALL - no SSD boot!

So, all that did is make things worse.

This MB is a few years old, and I did download the latest update.

Now looking for a GOOD MB.... :-(
