Who said anything about a session? I don't plan to log into this thing.

No browsers. No GUI. No screen, no keyboard, no mouse. No users, no
logins, no sessions. Just music.

Listen carefully: There is no user session :-)

It doesn't have to play music during startup; it just starts playing
music as soon as it's booted, and keeps playing music.
