problems upgrading from 14.04 to 16.04

Tom, that is peculiar, see the difference with "sudo apt-cache policy 
gcc-5-base"

Now the question: How to get it installed?
And sorry I respond sometimes slow as I have things to do (for example 
tomorrow I'm away from 9-~16.00 (local time = GMT+2) but I'll respond as 
soon as I'm near my system.
