You could install Ubuntu on machine 1, then backup the complete
install and after that restore from the backup on machine 2. Just the
bootloader needs to be written completely new. Maybe you also need to
edit a few things, when e.g. using an xorg.conf, you might need to
replace the graphics driver.

You also could remove the disk from computer 2, connect it to computer
1, install Ubuntu + bootloader and after that mount the drive to
computer 2 again.
