How to tell which version of a application is running

In the meantime just please run this command as root:

sed -i "s/#RateLimitBurst=1000/RateLimitBurst=30/" 
/etc/systemd/journald.conf

This will limit the amount of messages to 30 per 30 seconds.

This is for any individual service so other services will not be 
affected by the burst of tracker.
