DisplayPort not recognized

Not sure if I read this right, but there is no "digital stereo and
analog input" option in the pavucontrol configuration matrix, which is
what I've seen before.  This one only shows analog audio outputs, none
of which map to the displayport audio channel.

Is there somewhere else I need to look to enable it?  I didn't see any
such options....
