power saving

Actually, according to APT it does, but I see no such option in its 
settings:
    * battery monitoring
    * cpu frequency settings
    * monitor DPMS settings
    * suspend/Hibernate
    * LCD brightness control
    * Lid, sleep and power switches control

I'll have to investigate...
