ASAP I'll test using

$ man tar | grep exclude-from -A1
       -X, --exclude-from=FILE
              Exclude files matching patterns listed in FILE.

with the complete path

/media/winos7/winOS_2/ardour_ragrug-2017-mar-21-DONT_DEL_AT_IO_ERROR/cubasis

instead of

./winOS_2/ardour_ragrug-2017-mar-21-DONT_DEL_AT_IO_ERROR/cubasis
