Can't find installed programs

XUbuntu 16.04

I cannot find a program called 'details' that I installed from the 
ubuntu software center.  USC shows that it is installed, catfish cannot 
find it.  so I removed it and reinstalled it.  It is not in the 
application menu system, catfish still cannot find it.
