unable to install ubuntu 16.04.2

What happens if you hit a key? The pictogram is intended to show a
keyboard and a man, meaning hit a key for manual operation. It should
have timed out if you did nothing and tried to run Ubuntu from the
DVD, but it seems that did not happen.

If it comes up with some options then first tell it to check the files
on the DVD (which will take some time), note that the menu is keyboard
driven not mouse. If it checks ok then select Try Ubuntu to make sure
it runs ok on your machine.
