(Solved) It's All Text vs. Textern in Firefox 57

FWIW, I'm using Textern with Firefox 57 on Ubuntu 16.04 and it works
fine for me.  The only thing I recall doing beyond the installation
instructions was setting the external editor to ["gvim", "-f"].
