And, I spoke too soon. Running 'sudo apt update' after I replied I
again get:

When run the first time the list of sources is (the XX are mine). Had
to copy list to gedit to find the difference.

Hit #9 is not in the first run that I can see. Before asking here I did
a Google search and ran across this:

Applied the suggested fix however the issue did persist.
