[update] How can I transfer photos from my IPhone to my desktop computer?

Hi,

it might be that 'ideviceinstaller -l -o xml' could be used to avoid
trying to mount apps that don't have 'UIFileSharingEnabled' set to true.
My guess is, that this could help to get rid of the house arrest issue.

Unfortunately I need some help, too, or at least a documentation.

Does somebody know where top get help? Am I missing
information how to get help at https://www.libimobiledevice.org/?

I opened an issue,

github is a PITA, an authentication nightmare, each time I'll log in, I
need to fetch mails, to copy and paste a code.

I stopped working on the script, because of missing documentation and
will continue, if there should be a source of usable documentation
available or a place where to get help. By trial and error I lost a
whole day without success. Now I'll continue making music with my iPad.
Actually I bought the iPad to get rid of Linux issues ;) and this was
the right decision :).
