Strange printing problem

I can try it, but if the issue is with the driver and the old Debian
system as you suggest then I wouldn't expect printing from ANY
application on my PC to work on the Laserjet, and I can print just
fine from gedit, LibreOffice, Okular, etc - every application that
I've tried except Lazarus!
