I agree.

I would also suggest enabling 3D acceleration inside the VM. GNOME 3
requires OpenGL to function, although I am not sure if it is able to
use Vbox passthough OpenGL. I have found in experimentation that
installing the Virtualbox graphics drivers (which come with the guest
additions) seem to break Wayland. :-(
