Technically you are right: LibreOffice does open my spreadsheets but it
then displays "Err:507" in every cell associated with a formula, that
is, in almost all cells of some of the files.

Formulas like "=SUBTOTAL(109,[paid '[€']]) " are at least displayed in
the "Formula" field, if you select the corresponding cell displaying
"Err:507", but the simple formula "=SUM([How much?])" which also dis-
plays "Err:507" even leaves the "Formula" field blank.

Some formulas use "IF()", "ISBLANK()", "ISNUMBER()", and "OFFSET()".
Are these macros?

Erm, file "README.md" at the same location says:

   Overview

ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors is a free office suite that combines text,
spreadsheet and presentation editors allowing to create, view and
edit documents stored on your Windows/Linux PC or Mac without an
Internet connection. It is fully compatible with Office Open XML
   formats: .docx, .xlsx, .pptx.

   Components

ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors contain the following components:

     - desktop-apps - the frontend for ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors which
is used to build the program interface for the operating system
       selected.

     ...

     - web-apps - the frontend for ONLYOFFICE Document Server which is a
part of ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors that allows the user to
create, edit, save and export text, spreadsheet and presentation
documents using the common interface of a document editor.

Are we really talking about the same product and the same version of it?
The above refers to version 5.2.8.

Sincerely,
  Rainer
