It seems to be happy to create bootable keys from other Linux ISOs,
too. e.g. I've used it to write openSUSE ISO files with success.

The one thing I've not been able to do on Linux is write a Windows ISO
to a USB key. For this, I need to use Rufus under Windows itself. (At
least it does not need to be the same version.)

But Rufus sometimes does not work with Linux ISOs. So it's complicated.

I also use uNetbootin, but I have had failures recently. I think its
sticks may not be happy with UEFI firmware, but then, UEFI in general
is a problem.

No single tool works in all cases, but on Mac, I use Etcher, which is
huge (because it's one of those hideously bloated Javascript apps
using Electron) but works and is free. On Linux I use uNetbootin or
just `dd`. On Windows, I use Etcher or uNetbootin.
