The practice of using a password manager is great; I recommend it.  My
dad started using one a couple of years ago (he's now in his early 80s)
and found it a great improvement, since he now has fewer things he has
to remember.

Sorry, we're not going to make such a change: developers often need to
be able to communicate with bug reporters, while avoiding it being
trivial to spam people by forging email addresses and such.  In this day
and age, an unverified email address just doesn't cut it for that.
