The last time I programmed a computer to handle interrupts was at
C64 times, when programming MIDI software in 6502/6510 assembly
language. IOW this was not on a multitasking multi-user operating
system.
For me knowledge regarding detailed Linux process handling is not
important. As long as I've got the cow power to set up a real-time
audio environment that is responsive and a browser, mailer and pixel
graphics program work, too, I'm quite happy.
