Hi,
is the kernel without doubts the culprit or could e.g. an application
be the culprit?
Before going through
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/admin-guide/bug-bisect.html ,
I still recommend to test with an Ubuntu live DVD or if needed with 2
or 3 Ubuntu live DVDs. One Live DVD from the same Ubuntu release,
1 or 2 other from another release with a newer and/or older kernel. If
the same happens when running from a live DVD, I would test the
mentioned live FreeBSD USB stick https://www.nomadbsd.org/,
alternatively to FreeBSD any other OS, but Linux is worth a test.
Regards,
Ralf
