I agree. I have two web applications running: Nextcloud and MoinMoin (a
wiki). I tried to use a containerised version for of one of the two,
but I couldn't find a way to make it use the already installed Apache
server. I would have to run two independent Apache webservers.

Integration of Evolution in the gnome desktop, would be another
example.
