All correct.

I just installed the following pieces, in addition to the basics
already there - xscreensaver, xscreensaver-data and xscreensaver-gl:
xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod xscreensaver-data-extra
xscreensaver-screensaver-dizzy libopengl-xscreensaver-perl
xscreensaver-screensaver-webcollage xscreensaver-gl-extra
Other than loading more apps and libraries, I'll post if something
visible or noticeable changes.
Interestingly enough, I uninstalled xscreensaver and reinstalled it,
rebooted, and it now seems to be working better. I had rebooted, just
in case that made a difference, but it stayed stuck on the one file
that was already in the Pictures folder. Now it sees more of them, if
not all.
Thanks.
