Is 12.04 upgradable?

Good suggestion, except 12.04 is the newest version that still has an ALT 
image.

Tedious.  I have little confidence that any of these will work.  I'm thinking 
I will have to install a "spare" disk and install it there and then copy the 
install to the proper place.
