I just occurred to me that your home router may well have a facility to
provide a "guest network" - which is basically just a secondary network
that gets NATted independently. You may be able to set up a guest
network and use that when you want VPN access.

You may find that when connected to the guest network you lose access
to other networked devices in your home that are on the primary
network, like printers and networked storage. That's sort of the whole
point of a guest network :-) Your home router may have firewall
features that allow you to selectively grant access there too, though.

Regards, K.
