That's exactly the point. I love Linux because everything is
customizable in any detail. Just the date format is a nightmare in
GNOME.
By the way, in Cinnamon Desktop, it's very easy to set the time and
date format to any combination just by entering the appropriate string
( https://www.foragoodstrftime.com )
It would be great to have the same option in GNOME... right-click...
configure... enter string and that's it!
