HP ENVY 6052e Printer as a SCANNER Question

I also use an app called Fing. This app list the devices connected on the
local area network.
So if you use the WPS method to connect the printer to network then you can
see it is actually connected with its IP address.
But then you already have the printer working it is only the scanner you
have issues with.
Perhaps if you install Ubuntu Mate then you will have a compatible
environment for the XSane.
But then there is still the question why the android hp smart app is not
connecting. ?
