Editing grub boot menu, how to save?

I will give up on this then and write a sticker on the monitor with the correct
identification for future use...
One can wonder why the first Ubuntu entry always comes out with no extra info at
all whereas the following have both the version number and the partition name as
identifiers...

UEFI Firmware Settings
The server very seldom is rebooted, only if required by an Ubuntu upgrade or
when I want to copy the partition as a backup and therefore need the Ubuntu
Desktop to start where I can use GParted.
