I did a simple tar with compression of /home and /etc which worked fine.
I used to use sbackup but it went away .. I wish that someone would
resurrect it. It has been decades since I did any programming, and at 80
don't have the stamina to take it on myself...
rsbackup just seems to complicated to tackle setting it up with any
cetainty that it is correctly configured.
