Where is my umask being set to 0002?

Talking to myself as always.  On searching around I think that
actually the default umask *is* 0002, so mine hasn't been changed.
It's only for root that the default is 0022.

So, can anyone confirm that the default user umask on ubuntu is
0002 please?
