For the most part the "daily digest option" is a hold over from the "old" days
(slow dialup). *Modern* E-Mail software (like Thunderbird) can simulate a
daily digest, at least in the sense of keeping your main inbox uncluttered.
Look in setting for incoming mail filters and have BetterBird (Thunderbird)
pre-file list messages to a folder of your choice. You don't need to
unsubscribe/resub to turn off the daily digest. Just visit:
https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-users and login with your
E-Mail and list password (you can get that sent to you from the login page).
