Strange delay for every 10th ping

I must try various things, it's a bit late now, I'll do some more
tests tomorrow.  I've just noticed that it's worse than just that
delay, there's a dropped packet at each of those long delays.

A different WiFi server is easy to try, so is 5Ghz instead of 2.4Gz
though that's not usually an issue here as there are no close
neighbours with 'visible' WiFi.
