Chrome has got some advantages I sometimes like, but I also dislike a
lot of Chrome "features", e.g. that very old history entries get
automagically deleted.
For comparison I tend to use this page:
https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/refs/heads/main/docs/chromium_browser_vs_google_chrome.md
Btw. Firfox now does use sandboxing, too, but Chrome is using it for a
way longer time than Firefox. At least in the past Chrome (and
Chromium) were way more secure than Firefox. Firefox by default has got
tons of (IMO bad) Google "features" enabled. Go to "about:config" and
search for "google".
And while we are on it:
"However, Chromium does include many features that depend on Google’s
servers, and those features are enabled by default." -

"Chromium also lacks the usage-tracking or “user metrics” feature found
in Chrome. This is an optional feature that sends information about how
you use the different parts of the browser to Google, giving them data
they can use to base decisions on. (This was the sort of data Microsoft
claimed they used when they said they removed the Start menu because no
one used it, so perhaps geeks should start leaving such features on.)" -

I don't agree with the "geeks should start leaving such features on"
approach.
Another Chrome derivative:

I tend to use for most purposes Firefox or Chrome on Linux and Firefox
or Edge on iPadOS.
