FWIW:
Today I woke up and wanted to use my FireFox to see the news.
Firefox was open already since yesterday with a number of windows and each with
a number of tabs, not unusual for me.
But when I refreshed the news page it started to show the "working" symbol and
never stopped. No news..
So I opened a new Firefox window to go to my router in order to check if it had
lost Internet connectivity, but it could not even reach the router on the LAN.
Meanwhile ssh sessions to various Linux devices on my LAN worked just fine.
So I killed Firefox (all of the windows) and started over, and now everything
seemingly works fine. But it announced that I was now running a new version of
Firefox!
So I shrugged it off as "one of those things" until I saw your post, it seems
very strange that we would experience the exact same behaviour at the same time
being nowhere related to each other...
Can you tell if on restart of Firefox you also got the welcome page to the new
FireFox version? The version I now have is 96.0, what it was earlier is too late
to check.
